However, with the mock top, it really looked like a convertible with the top up. I used to come out to a parking lot after shopping and there would be people standing around looking at my car. It really was a sharp looking car. Never actually OWNED one, for both financial and practical reasons, but my best friend in high school had a silver '77 Mustang (in 1985), red interior, five speed--we called it the Gray Ghost. I still have the front license plate from that car (she has the back) and to this day, it's still the best thing I've ever driven. Thanks for the trip down memory lane! :)Masked Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08197019009052401812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5140743223864220003.post-48339845663356886162014-04-15T14:38:59.965-05:002014-04-15T14:38:59.965-05:00Wow, doesn't seem possible the 50th anniversar...Wow, doesn't seem possible the 50th anniversary of a Mustang; some impressive sight though to see it on top of the Empire State Building. Maybe you can rent one when you go on vacation sometime and get your "fix" in. I'm not sure what my dream car would be; I know at times I have liked various cars, but right now I'm just glad to have a vehicle that is paid off and still runs :)

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5140743223864220003.post-10651948784614296132014-04-15T14:17:07.548-05:002014-04-15T14:17:07.548-05:00Girl...I'd give my right arm for a red Mustang...Girl...I'd give my right arm for a red Mustang! I don't let myself think too much about having one, though, since I have a perfectly good, paid for Toyota Camry. They don't make them like they used to!!! Did you see on the news last night the story of the woman who bought the very first Mustang? She and her husband (who was then her boyfriend) still have it. He fixed it up after it sat in their garage; he vowed to fix it up after he retired. It is a beautiful car!Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11533317405680450964noreply@blogger.com
