This weekend in Oklahoma is tax-free on clothing. I'm avoiding any place that sells those things because it is a zoo. So instead I went to Borders and looked at the going out of business sale. They had increased the percentage off from the last time I went, so I bought a few books. I got a cookbook with chicken recipes (and good pictures), three romance novels (I like to read these when I fly) and two sudoku books (keeps my mind working) for $27. I thought that was a pretty good deal.
I have to head back to my local Borders. When I was last there, the books were only 10% off.
