So most of the shows have started up (except for Nashville, that's tonight). Because I don't have anything else to talk about and I'm sure you are waiting for my opinions on the fall season, here you go.
Scripted Shows
Revenge - AWESOME! Only two episodes into the year and I am counting the days until the next one. That's always a good sign. If you haven't seen this, think GOOD night time soap opera. Because it really is one.
Person of Interest - I was worried second season wouldn't start off well but I was wrong. Another great show if you need something to watch. It makes you think and has just enough based on reality to make you wonder if there is something out there like the machine.
Glee - Worried about this one. Although the last episode was redeeming it is now off for a month because of baseball. If it continues like the last episode great. If not, I may have to pass.
Once Upon A Time - yes a new entry to my normal watching. Whitney got me watching it and it comes on right before Revenge. If I miss one, it would be ok, but they sure have some great costumes and scenery in Fairy Tale Land.
Unscripted Shows (In Other Words Reality TV)
Project Runway - season almost over. I'm on Team Christopher or Melissa for the win. After this is over they are having another All Stars which I won't watch. Although our local contestant (Kayne Gillespie) is on it.
Amazing Race - this one gets DVR'd and I watch it when I can. I hate the food roadblocks and please make them do something. While the bull racing was fun to watch this week all the racers had to do was ride on the back of a motorcycle that someone else was driving. BORING.
Dancing with the Stars - I tried to watch this since it was All-stars and I'm a sucker for that. But this week's results show that continues to have the crappy dancers staying on (yes I'm talking to you Kirstie and Bristol) have ruined the show. Bye Bye Bye.
Top Chef - about to start new season. Yes I'll be watching.
Daytime TV
The Chew - yes I DVR this every day so I can watch it when I get home. I skip a lot of it but there is great chemistry among the hosts (except for Mario who I'm not sure why he is there). I've never cooked any of their dishes but I enjoy them. Clinton Kelly, Carla Hall and Michael Symon can come visit me any day.

Spring TV update
Figured it was about time for me to write an update of my tv viewing. A lot of my shows just ended so maybe that means less tv watching. Who am I kidding, I'll just find something new.
Shows that ended
Alcatraz ended last night. Really good finale and we don't know if it is getting renewed. It answered some questions, left some open, and had a death (maybe) so it would be easy to continue but I wouldn't feel cheated if it did end.
Project runway had mondo winning. Since he should have won his season, it was nice that he won. But only four days to create six looks? How about giving them fashion week? I felt sorry for Austin and Michael since they didn't get to do that.
Shows I'm giving up on
The Voice has just sucked this year. Seriously what are these judges listening to? I can hear the off key stuff and somehow they are the ones to be picked to go on. Guess what NBC, you just lost out on the best part of the show...allowing the non-pretty people a chance. I'm done with you.
Shows still on
Revenge just has to be the nest guilty pleasure show. I like that they showed us what happened on the beach. We feel like we are in the know but we get caught up in the twists and turns. It got picked up for a second season so I'm looking forward to where it can go from here.
The amazing race is ok this season. I like the border patrol guys. There cocky but not in an obnoxious way. They are my pick to win this season. Hope they don't lose out like the snowboarders did last time.
Person of interest is losing my interest a bit. Still watching but it doesnt have quite the spark I thought it would.
The chew is on at lunchtime so I tape it. I love Carla! And clinton Kelly is hysterical.
Smash I watch online the next day at lunchtime. Still not sure about it.
Upcoming shows
Food network is going to have another season of chopped all stars. I like these kind of shows because they all have talent and they aren't sniping at each other.
Little known shows
We just started watching unchained reaction. It is from the myth busters guys and two teams have to make A rube Goldberg machine. These people are seriously smart and talented.
Man, just looking at this list I'm tired. Maybe I should go watch some tv and veg out!
Shows that ended

TV Time
I haven't reviewed tv shows for awhile, so I figure I'll catch you up on what I'm watching. It's probably best to break them down as reality tv and scripted tv.
Reality TV
Top Chef - My money is on Paul right now to win it. He seems to be the most consistent chef. I really like Grayson but I'm afraid she is going to be soon departing.
Project Runway All Stars - So this just started and can I tell you I still have a Mondo crush. He is just so good. And can Rami have gained any more muscles. Why is it that men seem to be better designers for women than women do? The men are definitely stronger overall in this competition. I think women will be dropping like flies for a few weeks.
Script TV
Revenge - OK do I really have to wait until mid-February to continue this story. This is such a guilty pleasure show. Who doesn't love rich people getting it? They have more drama in this show than a daytime soap opera and at least it seems more feasible. Maybe not feasible but at least we don't spend three weeks having the same conversation.
Person of Interest - It is losing a little momentum probably because it has been off the air for a bit. It is definitely a show that makes you think. It is starting to go into the predictable stuff though. I'll know more after tonight's show.
Alcatraz - Did anybody watch this on Monday night? I'm hooked. I stayed up until 11:30 watching it on the dvr because I just couldn't turn it off. I never watched Lost but I've read it has a lot of similarities to it. And the number of stories could be endless since there were 300+ people who disappeared. Way to make it so you can be on the air for a few years.
Glee - It is about to "jump the shark" I'm afraid. And just when Dan started to follow the stories. It is becoming more and more unbelievable. I think I'm just watching for the musical numbers.
So what's coming up in the spring for tv? The Voice will be back. I may skip it though because once they got out of the blind auditions I didn't like it. How about Smash? That could give me my musical numbers with a more believable story. GCB has Kristen Chenowith in it and could be funny or it could bomb. And a title that they had to shorten to initials because it was "offensive" (not my word).
I'm open to other ideas if you have them. As you can see I tend more towards dramas that make you think and reality shows that people actually are on because they have some kind of talent.

Week One TV Reviews
Last week I brought you a list of shows I was going to watch this fall. I did watch all of them (well except the Iron Chef one because it doesn't start until next month). So here's my review.
1. Person of Interest
I almost was going to miss it because I was taping two things but I quickly decided to ditch night two of the X Factor to watch it. I sure am glad I didn't miss it. It was very interesting and creative. It had enough believability that you think it could happen but you know it can't. I highly recommend this one if you like crime solving shows. This is definitely one that I want Dan to watch with me.
2. Revenge
I can see where this is going to run out of steam at some point. Because really how many people can she get revenge against for what happened to her father. But I enjoyed the show. I would call it chick tv.
3. The X Factor
I watched the first night but will wait until after they get past this audition stage to watch it again. I really don't like watching bad singers. All they are doing is encouraging crap. I just want talent people. So I'll hold off for a couple of weeks.
4. Prime Suspect
I forgot to mention this one and in fact I missed the first half of the show. I like Maria Bello. It seemed fast paced and I could get into it. So I'll be watching this one again. And Dan might watch it with me because he likes her too. Check out The Cooler if you want to see her in a good movie.
5. The Amazing Race
I wish they would cast this show differently. I'm tired of the newly dated good looking couple, the blondes, the dumb girls with big boobs teams. Please, can we have normal everyday people. The dumb girls lost their passports before they even made it to the airport. How lucky for them that someone at the gas station realized they were on the show and posted on twitter they found them and were told to take them to the airport. Otherwise they wouldn't have even made it out of the country. Can't wait to get them off the show fast. I withhold judgement on the rest of the teams until another week of so goes by. And the tasks better get harder.
6. Glee
We saw our first Glee Project runner up on this show in a role just like the creator described. Overall I thought it was a good first show. Although the Sue craziness running for congress is way too much. And thank you for having Blaine join the school. Next week's preview however had the best line to come out of the show for quite awhile thanks to our resident dumb blonde Brittney. It was so funny that Whitney and I started texting each other immediately with it and I think it is our new catch phrase. They've been using it in the commercials and it still cracks me up. "What's the capital of Ohio?" "O" LOL
Project Runway is wearing on me. There doesn't seem to be much talent this year. There is an all-star version coming up and I'm more hopeful for them. FoodTruck Road Race ended last night. Think I'm done watching anything like that again.
