It turned out that we were in Alaska at the height of wildflower season. Very different flowers than at home. Very pretty but most of the flowers were very tiny. Probably a result of a short growing season and the cold winters.
I have no idea what any of these are called. I'm terrible about remembering that stuff. So I'll just enjoy the beauty.
