Bucket List Items
These are things that I've got on my current list (well in my head, I don't have one written down) or have always wanted to do and have accomplished. So while the days may not seem to make sense, if you look at it this way, it will all come together for you.
A is for Australia...a place I've always wanted to travel to. I'm sure this is on many people's bucket lists. I mean what is there not to want to go see.
Kangaroos and Koala Bears (in nature...not in a zoo).

Of course there is the weather (opposite of the US), the food, the people, the beach and so much more. I can't wait until I actually get to go there.
If anyone has been there and has opinions on must-see things, please let me know.
Beautiful pictures that too from natural habitat.Of course I have the desire of visiting that country.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I'm one person who doesn't want to visit Aus, but I can see why lots of people do. My husband has old friends who live out there and the mention of snakes in the garden and a funnel web in the kitchen kind of put me off :). I hope you get to visit though.

I've never been there, but it seems to me you have a pretty good start list here. I'd want to see all those things.
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun to go there! Certainly different than the States indeed. My problem with it is flying to it, LOL, since I'm not one that enjoys flying. I do hope you get to see Australia sometime!

What a great idea for a theme! You're right-- it's tough without one. I'd like to visit Australia one day as well.
ReplyDeleteGood start to the A-Z!
ReplyDeleteMy son has been to the 'land down under'... his girlfriend's Dad is a native and their family is still there. He loved it, of course. Me... not sure it's a top destination for me. Unless I could just blink myself there. :)
My 2012 A to Z was on Australia. I was prepping for a trip I took in April. One of my Bucket List items as well. It was amazing. If your not afraid of heights, do the Harbor City Bridge Walk and take the ferries to some of the small islands. Eat lost of Oysters and Rock Pool Grill is the best restaurant. So good.
ReplyDeleteHope you get there soon.
Australia is our travel bucket list as well! Hopefully you get to travel there soon :)

My brother always wanted to go there... I'm always thinking, 'That's too long on a plane' :)
ReplyDeleteI love this theme! Australia is a place I would love to visit as well.

Visiting from the A-Z Challenge. Australia is an awesome place to visit. I grew up there so the list of places I could suggest is enormous. I would definitely check out Sydney, take a ferry to Manly for lunch and then wander around the bridge, opera house and so forth. You should also visit one of the many wildlife parks so you can get up close with the wildlife. I have a ton of posts on the blog about our adventures in Australia and make sure you come on the "K" day as you will love that one. Hope you can make it down under some day!

This is a good place to start! Australia is at the top of my travel wish list. I almost took a trip there about 8 years ago, but it didn't work out. Maybe someday... Elle @ Erratic Project Junkie
ReplyDeleteI like your theme, and Australia is definitely on my list of to-see places. This will be fun to follow along. I may find some places to add to my own list. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteAustralia is on my bucket list too. I want to visit all the continents!
ReplyDeleteI have not been to Australia but it's on my list, too! We have a friend in the pizza business there...if you do visit, check out Pizza Pizzazz Currambine (www.realpizzas.com) and tell Dave I said hello!
ReplyDeleteI spent 16 too-brief days down under and it was magnificent. Great place to have on your bucket list!
ReplyDeletePop over an dabble in some vicarious Aussie fun?

Love your theme...and Australia is definitely on my bucket list as well.
ReplyDeleteAustralia is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI've been there a few times. Last Dec, I stayed with my family at the Wycliffe Centre in Kangaroo Grounds.
It was amusing to see the wild kangaroos that come in the mornings and the evenings.
