Kitchen Renovation Part 2



The old yucky lights



We finally decided on what to do with the lighting in the kitchen. Really the only option was going to be recessed lighting. So by deciding to paint the bathroom ourselves, that cost plus what we would have spent on light fixtures hired us an electrician to put in the recessed lights. We picked them out Tuesday and they were in on Wednesday. That was speedy.



The new lights (plus a hole that needs to be patched)


We have an appointment with the painter to show us paint samples to paint the ceiling. The kitchen still will need to have new countertops but that one will be put on the back burner probably for a year or two so we can get some college costs paid for.
