A Non-Valentine's Day Post

I really don't like Valentine's Day. It is just a stupid day where people are made to feel they need to do something and if they don't have someone they feel even worse.

So my blog today is about my favorite hobby...SHREDDING.  I know a strange hobby, but I find such joy is standing at the shredder and destroying paper. Maybe because it is a mind-numbing task.  Maybe because it is destruction that I get paid to do.  Maybe it is just because I like confetti.

I have often wondered if I could get a job where all I do is shredding. However those big industrial shredders don't cut it. You have to get downright personal with the shredder.  A few pages at a time.  Slowly extending the joy.

    I get your hobby. My son is the same way. Give him a box of shredding and he is a happy kid.

    Sadly, I must agree with you. I too enjoy shredding... I wonder why we do?

    One morning I stood too close to the shredder and it ate my gown and housecoat. I jumped back and the shredder followed me. Working it's way up my gown until I had enough sense to turn it off. :) Hugs
