Why is it that we seem to eat the same things week in and week out? I have a huge box of recipes that we've tried and liked. I have a huge stack of recipes that I saw on tv that looked good so I printed them out. I have several cookbooks with recipes that I've marked to try that look good. And yet we continue to have spaghetti, pizza, hamburgers every week. I need to get out of this rut and cook again. Although as we all know, I don't cook, I prep. My husband cooks.
So bring on the cold weather food of gumbo, red beans and rice and chicken noodle soup.
