So today is my birthday. I think at my age they just don't matter anymore. I don't feel any older. I don't look any older. It's not some magic birthday number today. It's just another day in my life. I think we'll go out to dinner tonight (just Dan and I) but I went to work today. In the past I usually take the day off but I didn't have a reason to be gone.
Is this what getting older is supposed to be?
I feel the same way Tracy - always low key, no big deal. Someone once said we should actually thank our Mom's on our birthday because they did all the work. heehee - And age is just a number to me too, no big deal.

ReplyDeleteSome years when things are...well, fine...I don't do anything special for my birthday either, except maybe get a great cup of coffee or take a walk and listen to my favorite songs, but I do those things anyway. Some years I celebrate BIG and others, it just isn't that big of a deal. Maybe these are the years we are the luckiest---because everything is just as it should be. :)
