B - Hot Air Balloon

If you are here for hodgepodge, keep reading

How many of you would like to float away in a hot air balloon? That's what I would like to do someday.

They look so majestic in the morning sky.

Or when the sky seems to filled with nothing but balloons at a festival, like the one in New Mexico.

Or maybe just a romantic picnic in the sky.

Someday I'll get my chance to ride in a balloon. How about you?

  1. Walla Walla, WA has a Balloon Fest every year too. Hubby and I camped out there one weekend. Woke up to the woosh noise they make when they go up and saw them launch. Have always wanted to go back.

  2. Hi,
To me they look lovelier with someone else in them. :) I don't even ride cable cars. Acrophobia. I love to watch the balloons though. I take my great grands on imaginary rides in them. I enjoyed the pics. Bestregards to you, Ruby

  3. No, no, no, no, no! I think they are great to look at, but heights bother me just a bit, so I'd pass on the ride in one, though I have been to the hot air balloon festival in Albuquerque and it is a sight to see! Amazing with all the different shapes of balloons that people and companies come up with! Also popular here close to where I live are hot air balloon rides over the Temecula wine country; I'm sure it is gorgeous!

  4. We have a hot air balloon festival in a neighboring town every year. I have never gone but I will have to make sure I do that soon! The heights would be scary but I think it would be a great experience!!

  8. I used to live in Homestead, Florida (south of Miami). They had a marvelous hot air balloon festival that was very up close and personal.

  10. I've always wanted to ride on a hot air balloon. There are some in nearby Lake George and the Adirondacks, but I haven't been on them yet.
